Apple sorts its application!
Certainly, in two days, more than 5.000 applications have been withdrawn from the Apple Store download platform because most of it had a sexual connotation.
We already knew that Apple banished all that was more or less erotic on the Apple Store. Moreover, applications sluts which managed to slip through the cracks were systematically taken out of the platform.
However, according to AppShopper.com, in two days (17 and February 18 last week) more than 5.000 applications have been with drawn from the Apple Store, which demonstrates that the Apple Store has more flaws than ce think.
Economic realism or computer odesty which is exaggerated?
Apple has indeed begun to implement a stricter policy on applications with erotic content. Henceforth, applications in which we could see men and women in bathing suits are prohibited, and also any carnal or erotic vision. Thus, any sexual connotation is banned even nudity is shown.
Last Sunday a spokesman for Apple told Agence France Presse, that every time Apple receives complaints from clients on a questionable content, they examine it. Thus, if the group believes that these applications have a content that is not acceptable, it’s deleted. Subsequently, Apple asked the programmer to make the changes required to be distributed by Apple.
Tactics or simple logic? Is Apple following U.S law, or rather isn’t it a tactic to pave the way for the iPad whose target is the iPhone family.
