TrueMove, Thailand, a New Operator Customer for Maeglin Software

Paris, 10 Novembre, 2010 – Maeglin Software, a company specialized in the development and sale of innovative mobile phone services, announced the signature of an agreement with TrueMove, one of the three largest mobile operators in Thailand with 17 million subscribers.

A Customized Implementation

Maeglin Software is implementing for TrueMove tailored packages under the brand iBackup including the PleexMigrator, PleexBackup and PleexShield solutions. The “Basic” service is sold as a 5 Baht per month subscription and lets its customers backup their mobile data. Three Enhanced Services are sold on top of this Basic Service to restore the customer’s content (iRestore, 10 Baht), let them easily migrate their contacts to a new phone (iTransfer, 30 Baht) and protect their data in case of loss or theft (iDelete, 30 Baht). Maeglin Software is working with TrueMove in partnership with its local partner Mobile Senses Asia Corp. The sales process chosen by TrueMove will be completely dematerialized and payments will be made by premium SMS. All solutions will be available in Thai and will be TrueMove-branded. This implementation shows once again the flexibility Maeglin Software brings in its customized implementations.

The Pleex Services

The TrueMove implementation includes the following solutions:

PleexMigrator: This service makes contacts transfer between mobiles simple; customers are guided step-by-step in the process: changing phones has never been so easy! PleexMigrator is compatible with over 2,000 handsets in the market.

PleexBackup: This Pleex solution lets mobile users back up and manage all their contacts (SIM & mobile phone) as well as their multimedia content (ringtone, wallpapers, photos, mp3, movies, files…). Contacts and files can be restored to any device. It is compatible with over 2,000 handsets in the market.

PleexShield: In the event of a theft or a loss, PleexShield lets end-users remotely lock their phone and wipe-out their content; it will also soon let customers geo-locate their handset.
