This mobile phone has the particularity to be very light. Indeed, it weights 100 g and is only 13 millimeters thickness.

Application stores are booming nowadays. But to download an application you have to get a Smartphone.

For those who can’t download because they don’t have the adapted OS, Microsoft has the solution: OneApp.

OneApp is a application store which could be used by all brand handsets and internal OS. It is a software which is 150Ko capacity (the ideal software for those who don’t have an huge internal memory) which allows you to list applications and download them on mobile. Windows Live Messenger, Facebook, Weather, Stocks or Reader will be the various applications which will be available.

This application store will be first launched on South Africa but will be available in various countries the beginning of next year. So, we’ll have to wait a little longer.

HTC decided to drive a hard bargain to the crisis releasing 2 entry level mobiles:

The Windows Mobile HTC « Mega » and the Android HTC « Click » Android.

The HTC Mega runs under Windows Mobile 6.5, has a Qualcomm 7225 processor, a 256Mo ROM and 256Mo RAM, a 2.8 inch screen with has a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, and it is compatible with HSDPA network. Moreover, it has a 3 Megapixels camera (without flashlight, or autofocus) and a GPS.

The HTC Click is the least expensive of the Android range. It has a interchangeable body and it is compatible 3G WCDMA.

Indeed, the American private bank USAA implements this situation which allows experimenting the fact to pay in a check without going to your bank and even does furthermore, by creating an iPhone application.

This experience was evocated the beginning of 2008. What is the procedure? It’s simple, you take a picture of your check on both side with your mobile camera and send it to a specific mobile networks. This system will reduce the time cash which goes from 4 days to up to one week.

The bank tests it out. Indeed, at the beginning only trustable client could benefit from this system (it represents at least 60% of their clients). The client has to sign up to certain options, in order to reduce fraud cases.

From now on, we have no new about implanting this system in France, but we stay tuned about it!
