The South Korean mobile phones giant, Samsung has just presented its new Android smartphone 2.1: SHW-M100. This is the first Samsung mobile phone that itegrates an Android 2.1 system. It goes on sale next month exclusively in Korea.

This smartphone is equiped with:

- a touchscreen AMOLED WVGA 3.7 inch,

- a processor clocked at 800 MHz,

- Digital Camera 5 megapixels that can  record video in HD 720p quality,

- Wifi 802.11n,

- GPS,

- Tv tuner compatible with standard T-DMB,

- an audio jack of 3.5mm,

- an interface touch Touch Wiz

However, Samsung has provided no information concerning the launch of its smartphone in Europe.

The Italian subsiday of Samsung “RAS” has announced that the Galaxy, a smartphone that is currently in Android 1.5, should have an update to Android 1.6 Donut in several weeks.

In recent days, iPhone and iPod users are invited to make an update to their device via iTunes.

Indeed, Apple has just updated its operating system OS X Mobile, now in version 3.1.3. This new version offers no novelty; however, embarrassing failures were corrected.

The interesting features in this firmware 3.1.3 are:

- a more accurate view of the level of the battery on the iPhone 3GS

- solving a problem may prevent the opening of some third party application

- correction of a bug causing occasionnal blockage of an application when using the keyboard Japanese kana.

Apple insists that machines have fewer problems related to security. To experience new features, people have to wait until the release of version 3.2, which should be marketed simultaneously with the iPad.

Sony Ericsson continues to expand and work on several mobile platforms. The new mobile, Sony Ericsson Aspen is a smartphone with a messaging keyboard and it is under Windows Mobile 6.5.3

A week ago, it appeared under the code name Sony Ericsson “Faith”, here at its official launch: the smartphone Sony Ericsson Aspen. It’s a mobile phone intentded for a professional audience with the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 support and a messaging keyboard located under a touch screen in landscape mode.

Moreover, it belongs to the range of Greenheart mobile, it is designed in order to better respect environnement, that fact will draw the image of some companies.

Finally, the marketing manager of Sony Ericsson has described it as a “business phone with a conscience”, he added that its interface is intuitive and rich. We can conclude that it is a phone that is designed to attract processors.

This new phone looks like a future best-seller, it is equipped with:

The mobile should be marketed early in the second quarter of 2010 at a price that is yet unknown.
