HTC decided to drive a hard bargain to the crisis releasing 2 entry level mobiles:

The Windows Mobile HTC « Mega » and the Android HTC « Click » Android.

The HTC Mega runs under Windows Mobile 6.5, has a Qualcomm 7225 processor, a 256Mo ROM and 256Mo RAM, a 2.8 inch screen with has a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, and it is compatible with HSDPA network. Moreover, it has a 3 Megapixels camera (without flashlight, or autofocus) and a GPS.

The HTC Click is the least expensive of the Android range. It has a interchangeable body and it is compatible 3G WCDMA.

Both of these mobiles would be available at the end of the year, for 300€ (without the operator package)

Motorola releases its first Android phone: the “Sholes”. This Smartphone possesses a real sliding keyboard, which will allow you writing text messages easily than ever. It also possesses a 3.7 inches LCD big touch screen, a GPS chip, a 5 Megapixels with autofocus digital camera and a multimedia reader.

You will be able to stock videos, photos and music over than 512 Megabytes internal memory + a 8Go memory card (already included in the pack). Moreover, if this internal memory is not enough, you can add a memory card (maximum 16 Gig octets.

Furthermore, it will have a performing standby autonomy which will allow you not to take your charger every time.  Indeed, there are a 750 hours autonomy in standby and 7 hours in communication.

This mobile will not only allows people to use the multimedia services better but it will also allow to easily transfer your PC content to your mobile phone within a second. The major innovation will be about the transfer of your PC files to your mobile via MediaGo and Media Home software and it will be done via WiFi.
