Twitter, a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users’ updates known as tweets, is on the roll since the beginning of the year.

After developing a special Facebook celle phone: it merges the mobile phone phonebook and the Facebook contacts, the company has just announced a special Twitter Mobile phone.

Marc Allera, United Kingdom sales director confirmed that 65% of internet users who have the INQ1 (Facebook mobile phone) use Facebook a lot more than with a classic cell phone and 50% of them discuss on line via Live Messenger with their mobile phone. Indeed, internet browser is not the same with a classic cell phone and moreover; prices of the communication are higher when using a classic mobile phone.

This mobile phone will be available during Christmas time at 170€.

Expensive bills on july or august in your mailbox, squeezed credit for the mailing of data, a exorbitant extra charge amount if you called from abroad. All of those stuff are over, thanks to Eurotarif.

Eurotarif was created by European Parliament in 2007. It is a conference in which are discussed prices of the european telephone company roaming charges such as the price for a call, for a text message or to send numeric data from abroad.

Before this conference, each telephone company  dictates their own prices. Viviane Reding, the french information commissioner declared that since 2007, European Parliament try to regulate and standardize the prices of differents telephone company all over Europe “When a market dos not succeed in regulating prices on their own, lawmaker has to help them to work it out”.

The decision finally taken by the Parliament are:

- Don’t get into debt anymore when you go outside your country for holiday, the cost for a call of one minute for receiveing or answering a phone call will reduce for 3 cts (0,43 € / mn  for receiving phone calls et 0,19 € / mn for sending phone calls )

- Numeric data: 1 Megabyte dowloaded would cost 1 € at the beginning of July 2009. The bill forecast a falling in the newt year :0,80 € /Meagbyte on July 2010 and finally 0,50 € / Megabyte on July  2011.

- A text message would cost no more than 0,11 €

Moreover, the icing on the cake woulb be that your telephone company will have to dcall you as soon as your bill gets 50 € overcharged.
